HOW TO USE THE HOLY HELP DESK
The Bible is often referred to as “The Word of God,” serving as one powerful way of communicating directly with our Creator. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, God’s word guides us personally, speaks to each of us individually, and meets us wherever we are.
Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path. – PSALM 119:105
01 CHOOSE
Choose one card per day and meditate on the words.
Listen to what God might be bringing to light for you and your situation.
02 READ
Read the entire chapter corresponding to the scripture on the card.
For example, if your selected card is John 3:16, read chapter 3 of John and reflect on the verse in context of the entire passage.
03 MEDITATE
Meditate on one verse and try to commit to memory.
Tape it to your mirror and say the verse aloud to yourself every morning and let it set the tone for your day.
04 REFLECT
Reflect on the back of the card and journal your thoughts and takeaways.
05 SHARE
Share a Holy Help Desk card with a friend to inspire and encourage them.
06 PERSONALIZE
Personalize for impact by inserting your name into the bible verse.
Hear God’s word specifically for you. For example — Isaiah 41:13 “For I am the Lord your God (your name) who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, 'Do not fear (your name), I will help you.'"
07 GO DEEPER
Try the prayer method called Lectio Divina which has 4 steps:

Read - What does the text have to say that everyone should understand?

Meditate - What does the verse mean to you and the different areas of your life?

Pray - What can you say to the Lord in response to his Word?

Contemplate - What parts of our mind, heart, and life need to be transformed by God’s grace?
